About Furzzee

There was a stretch of months we will never forget. Mochi stopped greeting us at the door. Biscuit, our usually loud, opinionated little shadow, started sleeping more than playing. We tried longer walks. We tried new food. We tried sitting on the floor with them for hours, just being there.

Then one rainy afternoon we pulled out a simple snuffle mat and hid a few pieces of kibble inside. Mochi tilted his head. Biscuit pawed at it carefully, then with curiosity, then with the kind of focus we hadn't seen in weeks. When the last piece was gone, she looked up at us with bright eyes, like something inside her had switched back on.

We cried, honestly. Not because of a toy, but because of what the toy had done. Our dogs needed something to think about. Something to figure out. A reason to use their nose, their paws, their problem-solving brain.

That was the moment Furzzee really began.

Once we leaned into enrichment, the small things came back first. Mochi started carrying his squid plush from room to room again. Biscuit returned to her zoomies, the ridiculous, joyful, sideways kind that make you laugh out loud.

Storms still happen. Long workdays still happen. But now they have a cozy cave to retreat into, a chew that keeps their jaw busy, a soft donut bed where they curl up nose-to-tail like little cinnamon rolls. The hard moments got softer. The quiet ones got cozier. The playful ones came back, brighter than before.

That is what we want for every pet that finds Furzzee. Not a perfect dog. Not a perfectly behaved cat. Just a happier one. A more engaged one. One who feels seen, in the way only their person can see them.

Furzzee started as a small kitchen-table operation in North York, Ontario. We packed our first orders for friends, neighbours, and a handful of pet parents around our corner of the city, while Mochi and Biscuit supervised from the rug.

We proudly serve pet parents across Canada, from Vancouver to Halifax, with free standard shipping and taxes included on every order. We're still small, still independent, and still answering customer emails ourselves, often with a corgi nose nudging the laptop.
